Crafts By Kenna

I know what you are all thinking... Crafts?? That Kenna did. Unbelievable. Well it is true. I have done some crafts since moving to Kirksville and just wanted to share some of the ones I'm more proud of and actually turned out okay. They are all extremely cheap and easy to do, so if you are in the same position as me (moneyless, snowed in, and husband's studying... all the time) then here are some fun craft ideas!

Craft #1
Paper Wreath
So I saw this in a Pottery Barn catalog as decor and thought I would give it a shot. I didn't realize till after that the book pages and my wall are the same color so take that into consideration and paint the edges or something to help it stand out if you attempt this one. Also there are many different kinds of paper wreaths if you google it you'll see and you can use different kind of paper too, ie: sheet music or maps.

Craft #2
Earring Display Frame
Once again this is a Pottery Barn catalog idea. All you do is take a frame and super glue string to the back according to your earring sizes, then hang it up. I added some beads on my string just for fun. You can do this for necklaces and bracelets as well.

Craft #3

Paper Fans
I wanted Oscar's room to be a little more bright and cheery so I made these... But don't be fooled by they simpleness of this one. Be prepared for paper cuts gallor. My suggestion, wear gloves.

Hope you enjoyed my craft post!
